Congratulations to our After school club in Scoil Mhuire on their prize at the Young Scientist Exhibition

 

This year, an after school club run by Anyone 4 Science in conjunction with Children's Hope won a prize in the Primary section of the BT Young Scientist exhibition in the RDS.  This after school club was based at Scoil Mhuire in Shankhill, Co. Dublin.

The children, aged 9 and 10, put together a project called "Crash Test Dummies" - also known as "Crash Test Dumb Eggs". 

They built vehicles and then tried lots of different eggsperiments to keep their egg passengers safe*, using everything from rubber bands to cotton wool.
